This is a programme created to help people who are concerned about their gambling behaviour. Our modules have been designed so you can work through them at your own pace, wherever is most convenient for you, over the course of eight weeks.
The programme consists of eight modules, each designed to address a different area relevant to your gambling behaviour.
Before you access the programme, we will ask some questions about you and your situation. This will help us understand what is going on for you, how much support you might benefit from, and whether or not this programme is the most suitable option for you.
When you have completed this initial assessment, we aim to notify you of whether you have been successfully registered for the programme within two weeks.
Your registration details will be sent to the email address you provide. Should you run into any problems with the registration, please contact our support team email@example.com
You will be asked to accept our terms and conditions when you register. You can read more about how we collect and process your personal data below.
This programme is for people who are concerned about or are experiencing problems with their own gambling. The programme lasts eight weeks, and you access each module of the programme online.
Each module is designed to help you reflect on your gambling habits, and you will complete exercises to help you do this. You will also be able to share your experiences with other participants in a dedicated forum. For this reason, you may want to use a nickname as a username instead of your real name. You can find more information about the forum in the section below.
You will be assigned a practitioner who will guide you through the programme. They will be your therapist and will schedule a call with you each week to catch-up on your progress and ensure that you are getting the most out of the programme. This is a check in call that will last around 20 minutes.
You will also receive a follow up from GamCare at the end of the programme and then at 3, 6 and 12 months after you have completed it. If you need any additional support at any time or you feel the programme is not matching your needs, please notify your practitioner who is available to help. If you require additional support, please do not hesitate to contact our Helpline on 0808 8020 133, or via live chat available 24 hours, 7 days a week.
It is your choice to take part in the programme, so if at any point you would like to leave the programme you can contact our team to cancel your registration and discuss other options if you would like to.
Please note that our team has no medical responsibility for you as a participant.
To participate in this programme, you need access to a stable internet connection via a computer or mobile device, and you need to keep track of the username and password you create during registration.
Everything within the programme is password protected and only you will be able to access your completed modules. Your login details are very important and should be stored safely. Please contact us as soon as possible if you forget your login details or if you think that someone else may have accessed them.
The programme includes a dedicated forum where participants can communicate with each other and share their experiences. Your real name will not be visible when you post a message in the forum, however the username you have chosen will be. Therefore, choose a username you are comfortable with.
By registering to this programme and using the forum, you are agreeing to be held responsible for the information you post, and you are confirming that you accept and understand the following ‘Rules of Engagement’:
